At its core PylonMon is a dead-man's-switch for your infrastructure. Your jobs check in with us, or we reach out to them — and if the expected signal doesn't arrive on time, you get alerted. It watches from outside your network, so when the whole thing goes dark you still hear about it.
But it's a full monitoring platform, not just a heartbeat. PylonMon runs heartbeat, HTTP/S, TCP, ping, DNS, TLS-certificate and domain-expiry monitors, then routes alerts through the channels you already use — email, SMS, voice, Discord, Slack, Telegram, WhatsApp, webhooks, ntfy, and browser push. On top of that sit escalation ladders, on-call rotations, severity-graded incidents with acknowledgement and notes, public status pages, maintenance windows, exportable logs, and an API with Alertmanager integration — with teams, roles, and SSO for organizations that need them.

We collect the minimum needed to run the service: your account email, the monitors you create, and their recent results. Status badges use a per-monitor token that is separate from your heartbeat URL, so sharing a badge never exposes a way to ping your monitor. We don't sell, rent, or trade any of it. Ever.
