How PylonMon collects, uses, and protects your information. Last updated 2026-07-16.
We collect the minimum needed to run the service: your account email, the monitors you create and their recent results, and — only when you add them yourself — mobile phone numbers for SMS and voice alert channels. Payment card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
Your information is used solely to operate PylonMon for you: running your monitors, delivering the alerts you configure (email, SMS, voice, and other channels), authenticating your account, and providing support and billing. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.
No mobile information — including your phone number and your SMS or voice opt-in/consent — is ever shared, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in and consent data is not shared with any third parties. The only sharing that occurs is with our messaging provider, Twilio, strictly to deliver the alert messages you configured, and with service subcontractors (such as our hosting provider) solely as needed to operate the service. SMS and voice alerts are transactional monitoring notifications only — never marketing.
You opt in yourself inside the app by adding your own number and checking an explicit consent box (see our opt-in details). Message frequency varies with your configuration; message & data rates may apply. You can opt out any time by replying STOP, or by removing the number in your dashboard; reply HELP for help.
We never sell your data — not to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone. We share data only with the service providers required to run PylonMon — Stripe (payments), Twilio (message delivery), and our hosting provider — each of whom may process it only to provide their service to us. We may disclose information if required by law.
You can remove monitors, alert channels, and phone numbers at any time from your dashboard. If you close your account, we disable it and purge its data after a retention period. Privacy questions or requests: support@pylonmon.com.
