Exactly how a PylonMon customer consents to receive text and voice monitoring alerts. This page mirrors the consent step inside the app so it can be reviewed without an account.
Anyone can sign up free at pylonmon.com/portal?signup=1. No text or call is ever sent at sign-up — messaging only ever goes to a number the customer adds themselves, below.
After signing in, the customer opens the Alerts tab, adds an SMS (or Voice) alert channel, enters their own mobile number, and must tick the consent box before the channel can be created. No one else can add a number, and consent is not a condition of purchase. This is the only opt-in path. It looks exactly like this:
Transactional monitoring alerts only — when a system the customer monitors goes down or recovers, plus on-call and incident escalations. Never marketing or promotional messages. Examples:
PylonMon: your monitor "api-prod" is DOWN — no response for 2m. Reply ACK/PAUSE — PylonMon Reply STOP to end.PylonMon: "api-prod" is back UP (down 6m). — PylonMonWe never sell, rent, or share your number. Full messaging & privacy policy: pylonmon.com/legal#sms.
