What monitoring actually costs, by example

Plans are flat: Free ($0), Pro ($9/month), Team ($49/month), Enterprise (from $129/month). Every monitor of any kind — a website check, an agent node, a LAN probe, a journey — counts one against the plan’s monitor cap. Nothing is metered; if you outgrow a cap on Pro or Team you add a prepaid block (+25 monitors $5, +5 journeys $10, +2 status pages $5, +250 MB log storage $5) or move up; Enterprise limits are set per contract. The examples below are computed from those limits, not estimated.

The knobs that change the number

Monitors are the main cap: Free 20, Pro 75, Team 250, Enterprise 1,000. Agent nodes: 3 on Free, up to the cap on paid.
Status pages: 0 / 1 / 3 / 10, +2 for $5 on Pro and Team — the usual reason an MSP goes past Team’s base price.
People: Free and Pro are one seat; Team is 5; Enterprise unlimited (SSO). A second person’s email can still be an alert channel on Pro.
SMS: 10 / 20 / 30 per month on Pro / Team / Enterprise; email, Discord, Slack, webhooks and push are not metered. Voice calls on paid plans.
Check interval: 1 minute on Free, 30 seconds on paid. Agents push every 20 seconds on every plan.
Journeys (a real browser walking a flow): 1 / 2 / 10 / 100, +5 for $10.
Logs: search retention 1 / 3 / 7 / 14 days; +250 MB storage for $5.
